The way visitors plan their trips has changed.
Increasingly, and particularly among younger generations, people no longer rely on traditional websites to decide where to go and what to do.
Instead, they expect to find everything they need through apps: from inspiration and travel planning, to navigation, recommendations and booking decisions.
To encourage early participation and ensure the app launches with a strong and representative range of Island events, we are offering free listings for an initial 12-month period.
After this introductory phase, listings will be priced very competitively, pricing will be developed in discussion with partners, and there will be optional opportunities for events to be ranked higher within their category for limited periods, at a small additional charge.
Our goal is to keep Wightguide accessible to events of all sizes, while creating a sustainable platform that continues to benefit the Island long term.
